Role Description
Manganelli, Leider & Savio, P.A. is seeking a full-time, on-site Legal Assistant to support the firm’s foreclosure litigation and creditor-rights practice in Boca Raton, Florida. This role involves assisting attorneys with legal document preparation, case management, administrative coordination, and client communication related to residential and commercial foreclosure matters. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced legal professionals while gaining hands-on experience in foreclosure and litigation operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage foreclosure-related legal documents and pleadings
- Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and litigation records
- Coordinate communication with clients, process servers, vendors, and opposing counsel
- Assist attorneys with filings, service of process, hearings, and case management workflows
- Monitor court activity and support administrative and operational legal functions
- Ensure accuracy, organization, and timely handling of legal and case-related documentation
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree, paralegal certificate, or legal studies background preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a law firm or legal office environment
- Familiarity with foreclosure litigation, legal documentation, or court procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in creditor-rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or real estate litigation
- Experience preparing foreclosure complaints, motions, pleadings, and legal filings
- Familiarity with Florida court systems, e-filing platforms, and litigation procedures
- Experience working with mortgage servicers, lenders, or institutional legal clients
- Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent legal education preferred
- Experience with legal workflow or case management platforms such as CaseAware or similar systems preferred
